Reaching out to my Dungeon family for prayers. Currently in route from Texas to Miami to go see my dad in the hospital. He'd been suffering from some symptoms due to his cancer flaring up again recently. But it looks like the damage to his liver is too advanced for any treatment to be worth pursuing. He's being moved to the hospice care floor right now as we try to make him comfortable for whatever time we'll be blessed with.
As some might remember, we lost my mom 3 years ago due to COVID so this is a big blow for my sister and me. We also have my dad's aging parents to care for. They'd been living with my dad and now we must figure out how to navigate caring for them going forward. My grandma will especially take this hard. My sister and I are still working on the best way to let her know that's he's going to hospice.
