Predict next yr's record

If he can pick up a speedy RB, JUCO QB, and maybe a HR threat WR, the team could be bowl eligible next year.

After a year like this, I want to see steady improvement week to week. I think 5 wins is possible (and I'd be elated with more), but I really just want to see week-to-week improvement (even if less than 5 wins) after this recent debacle. I have never been so interested in recruiting and so eager for the spring game as now.

Must win:

Should win:
vs Temple
at UConn

Underdog with puncher's chance:
vs Maryland
vs Cincinnati
at East Carolina
at Houston
at USF

Not winning in almost every scenario:

at Michigan

I'll say 6 wins. Maybe drop one we should win and pick up one where we have the puncher's chance.

So you're not worried about a horrendous OL or nonexistent pass rush?
I thought we weren't concerning ourselves with defense anymore.
I'm hoping an offseason in the weight room does wonders for the o-line. I admit that is optimistic to the point of foolishness though.

Realistically does the players on the offensive side of the ball match up with what Frost game plans. He can adjust, but I would imagine he will try to make his gameplan as similar as in his successful past. UCF recruited in the past for time possession gameplan, slowly grinding up and down the field. Unless there is some JUCO pick ups, seems hard to see the players transitioning to a whole new gameplan in 1 year. At least a few players are going to have to somehow learn how to be fast, cause there were at least a few that looked incredibly slow as oppose to who ever the opposition was.

Most coaches usually do not make significant progress until their recruits are in place, and that's not even in situations where the two coaching strategies are completely opposite.
