The right to bear arms in the US is a Constitutional right- alongside freedom of speech and religion.
To say that we can strip people of a fundamental Constitutional right because some asshole in a dark corner of DC placed them on a "No Fly List" is absurd. You can only lose your right to vote after being found guilty of a Felony by a jury of your peers. The same should apply to the loss of your 2nd Amendment rights.
Ironic that Obama wants to close Guantanamo yet thinks the No Fly List is an ironclad list.

Just to be complete, often all weapons will be seized if you are arrested for domestic violence and also if you are the subject of a protective order against you. So it's not just convicted felons.
