I think we saw a different team during the OU game. WVU is not an offensive juggernaut and they won’t be able to slow us down for 60 mins. I see us pulling away early and learning our lesson from Baylor and not letting up.

We do have to minimize turnovers however like the OU game to make sure we dont keep them in the game

We need this win to gain momentum heading into the back half of the season. I want that 6th win and bowl eligibility.

That's going to be a huge challenge for a defense that has lost several players for the season, and while coaches won't linger on that and fans don't want to hear it, it's a simple fact. If a team loses starters, those who elevate to their positions probably aren't quite as good. That's why they weren't starters themselves. Of course they will keep working, hopefully improve, and make the team better in the future. But it's not realistic to think that an injury-affected team will keep playing at the same level.
As a reminder, WVU has lost linebackers Josiah Trotter and Trey Lathan, along with cornerback Montre Miller and safety Keyshawn Cobb, for the season. Spear Lance Dixon was suspended for the Oklahoma State game and his status is "to be determined according to head coach Neal Brown.
