Question about the Playbook

Does the playbook have to change with a new coach? Is the playbook the intellectual property of the school or the coach?

Obviously, the new coach may want his own system, I was just wondering about the transition.

The team is going to get new terminology in spring even though many of the successful plays will remain.

I'm sure many of the same plays will remain but the team has to learn new terminology. The playbook is also going to get larger with the new plays. The next few months will be interesting for these young men.
