Ever-bodies got's an opinion. He was an every down back at UCF and then some... Some people are just trolling, or putting up click baits i.e. trollin'

I think he’s a 3rd down back that can be a starter if main back is hurt. Depends on team he goes to.
He’s 5’8 and obviously you don’t know the difference between college and NFL football.
I know the person who coached Emmitt Smith in college. Emmett Smith was 5’9 at best. He had a pretty decent career.
Harvey is 5’8” and is not an every down back. He’s also a 3-4th rd draft pick but boys here comparing him to an NFL HOF RB, a unanimous All American at college and the NFL all time leading rusher. Dude was not even first team RB in the conference.

You premised your statement on his size. He’s actually much more athletic than Emmett was. Doesn’t mean he’s gonna be a better back than Emmitt was but for u to utilize measurements and athleticism as your premise for downgrading him is way out inaccurate

How am I “downgrading” him????? How? I am presenting REALITY. I said he was a very good college back but is NOT an every down NFL back. He’s never shown that he’s willing and/or capable of blocking anyone.
He’s a consensus 10-20 RB in the draft. And , just about every projection has him going in the 3-4th round.
Again…he was a very good college back but he was NOT an elite college RB. An elite RB takes over and makes the runs in the biggest games…RJ Harvey never did that. The two biggest games for UCF last year were Colorado and UF and he was shut down by mediocre defenses in those games.
NONE of you people even know what an every down back is.

I’ve watched him pick up blitzes successfully the whole season. He’s good at it. He won’t be asked to stop 270 lb guys by himself. Typically would help out and just chip and move to flat for safety valve. He will pick up safety and corner blitzes solo. That’s what he’d be asked to do.
Last year I was one of the only people that said Baker needed to work on keeping feet inbounds or he would struggle. Of course I was dim and he was going to be a top tier rookie. Then the season happened.
