This site needs to do a better job filtering their advertising that has redirect malware in them leading to ransomware sites.

Easy. Don't click on any advertising. I don't.
I don't click on ads. These auto-play facebook/youtube linked ads get hacked with redirect code. Even if you didn't get the hacked ad on initial entry into a page, the rotating ads will eventually hit one that causes the redirect. I'm smart enough never to fall for it, but it get pretty annoying and dangerous if I'm about to click on a link on the rivals page and the redirect screen pops up. And no, I don't want to pay for adblock for the dozen computers I use. The websites need to take responsibility for what they put on their page or face retribution.

I know what you mean. Sometimes an ad change will cause my entire screen to get hijacked for an "urgent google chrome update." Luckily, I just got ad block to stop it. I know this topic was discussed over in the cooler. Rivals really needs to do something about it.
