One of the things I missed when Frost left is how he used TEs. I would say the way he uses them is why he has sent them from all his colleges where he controlled the offensive play schemes into the PROs.
Heupel had his 2 and 2 receivers split wide too much to use the TEs effectively.
I don't know what Gus' excuse was, his use of TEs (or lack of use of TEs) had me scratching my head a lot.
What do we know about a Frost offense and TEs? He will use the TEs effectively in both the passing and running game. They are a very viable piece of his play calling. They will do more than just straight forward blocking and will be used critically in a variety of situations. You won't be watching a game in the 3rd quarter wondering why the HC isn't getting the TE more involved. They will be used more like KC Chiefs TE and also will be used like a fullback in the running game.
