Recruiting Update Thread

Early enrollee means that those commits graduated high school early as they normally would have this semester be the end of their senior year. They enroll now getting a jump on learning the playbook and more importantly getting access to the training program. Mid-year enrollees are coming in the UCF summer semester after wrapping up high school. They still get a small head start on Fall enrollees but would have missed Spring practices.
LaParka Langston is coming from a Junior College so he might not be done with courses there or would appear more like a Transfer since he is already at a college and not enrolling fresh out of high school.

In his tweet it says they are on campus. Not coming in Summer.
the tweet was about our high school signees. he says "here are the early enrollees on campus for the Knights (colon)"

then he lists the remainder of the class as mid-year enrollees. he's not saying those 3 are on campus.

With the Spring NSD on Feb 5th, anyone else surprised there hasn't been new commitments? I figured since we only signed 12 before and we basically broke even in the portal that we would have room.

Looking at his film Camp Lott looks like he will be a good addition.

Yes, particularly that hog from Arkansas!
The Eagles Lane Johnson was a QB when he got to Arkansas initially. He put on a few pounds since he’s been the best left tackle in the NFL the past 10 years.

Rarely, do true Freshmen play at any school for exactly that reason. Either too small for the height or needs to gain weight. This is probably the most coachable position in FB.

Gus gone =.Chicken eateries popping back up in Orlando.

Gus literally sunk UCF football with his evaluations and decisions. Four years and never developed any of his high school OL. Hardly, signed any OL out of high school to begin with.

Agreed On the pathway to forwarding your athletic career. Going from high school to college is the most difficult because of the speed of the game and the strength of the opponents They are drastic.

And yet, UCF had its first NFL draft pick (2 if you include Matt Lee) at the OL position in many years.
