Sincere Edwards and Carter Miller received a transfer rank bump to a .9000 in the latest 247 Sports update.
I think as long as you entered portal when it was open you can transfer after it closes.
This is my understanding. The portal opened at the end of the regular season, the day after the College Football Playoff field and bowl games were announced. It opened on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, and closed on Dec. 28. The spring portal opens on April 16 and closes on April 25. However, the transfer portal will open for 30 days whenever a head coach leaves their program so all player movement hasn’t necessarily stopped.
Wonderful. How do these players get into classes late or are their transfers after spring semester?
At UCF, Jan 22 was the last day to register, add a class, or drop a class with full tuition refund and without receiving a grade of W. I believe after the published Add/Swap deadline (different for each term), the College of Sciences Advising Services (COSAS) office will consider a student's petition to late add/or swap a College of Sciences (COS) course for that term.
These are HS kids signing in what was the tradition original national signing day window (now it’s the 2nd national signing day). These guys never were early enrollees, they come for summer classes after HS graduations.
The Hawaiian kid was a nice flip from SMU. Seems like they really wanted to get more depth on the o-line, can’t complain
Not a flip at all. The kid was dropped by SMU months ago and that’s why he did not sign in December. Kids who are dropped stay on the commit list unless they publicly de-commit.
didn't a guy leave Wisconsin for Miami never hit the portal and is immediately eligible to play. proving that the portal isn't necessary.
He left Wisconsin after the academic year and enrolled in Miami on own. The NCAA can’t stop a kid from enrolling in the school he wants.

I believe the problem was Wisconsin would not let him get into the portal. The argument was there was a multi year deal with the NIL.That was ultimately resolved. I think it was a Broward Cty kid

Odd we played 4 QBs and he wasn’t given a chance. I’m going to assume no one picked him up. I thought he may go to Purdue.

Hasn't found a home as of a week ago, unless it wasn't picked up by the portal.....probably leads to why he wasn't given a chance last year, even Colson found a P4 home quickly.

The situation was not resolved at all. He left on his own and enrolled at Miami. Fickell and Wisconsin are butt hurt and threatened to sue Miami (funny).

Not having a recruiting director in place is a huge deal. This will have big effect on the 2026 class. Recruits all over the country are already scheduling OVs.
UCF fans/media doesn’t seem concerned or interested in this. It’s not even being mentioned anywhere.
Miami has 34 OVs scheduled & UCF has zero.

UCF doesn’t have anyone covering the team for 247 or for ON3…Brandon has intel but he keeps in the private forum
