Cliffs:

- Obama Admin secretly told the Iranians in 2016 that they'll help them side step US sanctions to free up $5.7B
- They secretly met with an Omani Bank who would do the conversion for them
- The Obama Admin then secretly solicited 2 US banks to ask them to illegally violate US sanctions and make the transaction
- Both banks refused for obvious reasons

This comes after the revelation that the Obama Admin killed the US program that was targeted the Hezbollah drug trade and money laundering. The end result is that the terrorist organization is now as wealthy as ever with a global drug racket.

It's news. Yes the daily wire put its spin on the story, but it's still news, especially the part where the Obama administration tried to get two US banks to perform the transaction (which the transaction in question was part of the deal as previously announced - to allow Iran to use "frozen" funds. Good for the US banks for declining the request, but the deal still went through European banks.
