Russians Cyber-Attack US Security!

Not to pick the fly shit out of the pepper but he disbanded the pandemic task force--NOT the Coronavirus one.
Good point. My bad.

I look forward to hearing how our current President plans to respond to this threat to our national security.

This stuff happens all the time. I wonder what makes this time different.

Dementia man can take care off Russia after his butthole recovers from bending over to China.
I could have predicted the responses would be either 'no big deal,' 'the hackers are actually from China' or similar bullshit.

Keep in mind, this ho-hum reaction is from the same posters who've had their panties in a wad about "rampant election fraud." :)

Again, being an asshole. Don't you wonder why this is different than the typical hacking?

If you'd follow the story, you'd understand why this is a very big deal that is significantly more sinister than 'typical hacking.'

I read the story. This kind of stuff has been happening for a long time, so whats going on that makes it worse in this instance? Must be something.

So do we declare war on them? Escalate our own spying operations to the point of doing harm?
This is the kind of crap that happens when Russia can hack the United States with ZERO accountability. You don't have to be an Einstein to figure out that Trump's unwillingness to do anything created a situation where Putin felt he could continually ratchet up his cyber-attacks against us.

While this is war-worthy, the responsible thing to do would be to make Russia pay for this with sanctions. But it will take President Biden to do it because you won't get a peep out of Trump.

Hell, this happened six months ago and the story broke two days ago and we haven't heard a word about it yet from President Trump.

Wow. This is worth going to war over?

I said it was war-worthy. But I made a point of saying we shouldn't go to war over it.

A vicious cyber attack of this nature is like a Russian air strike over the U.S. that destroys critical defense installations without the loss of American lives.

I say we respond in kind. Send Kenny Chesney on a 7 week tour through Russia and they'll know we aren't happy with them.

Yeah, let's joke about a Russian cyber-attack but criticize "libs who are so blind they refuse to take rampant voter fraud seriously." 🙄

Who here would've bet against me that Trump would try to blame it all on China?

And who here wants to bet against me that our resident Trumpsters will buy it?

Mitt Romney was just on Meet the Press. "There is no evidence whatsoever that this is China and I have no clue why this President ignores the vast information he has from our intelligence communities that was Russia. He clearly has a blind spot when it comes to Russia."

This hack was as about as serious as it gets. And the magat morons like dr. knighttime and crazy are too busy taking their lead from www.loser.com and crying about non-existent voter fraud.

Perfectly put by Mitt. One more month of this buffoon.

The scope of this Russian hack has become clear: We're talking The Pentagon, US intelligence agencies, nuclear labs, and a number of Fortune 500 companies.

And the worse part is, it's one thing to learn they've hit us with malware, it's another thing entirely to figure out how to safely remove it.

Because trump is compromised by russia. We all know this, it was proven in the Mueller report.

Reminiscent of Trump disbanding our Coronavirus task force after taking office, the person that we needed to lead our country's response to this Russian malware threat was fired by Trump a few weeks ago.

But I guess we shouldn't worry about this since Putin and the Russians are now our 'friends,' right guys?

Trump actually pulled funding from cyber security to pay for his insane border wall. Cut it 20% in FY2018.

So this is yet another colossal fuk up, just like disbanding the pandemic task force right before corona hit.

Undeniably the worst POTUS in US history.

He is the greatest president in my lifetime and quite possible the best ever. Just ask him or his knuckle-dragging supporters. We seriously need to add his botoxed and orange-infused face to Mt. Rushmore ASAP.

Most (non-Trumpster) conservatives will admit to his many failings as President but rationalize them away with, "yeah, but he gave us a conservative majority on the court for decades to come."

I linked to an NBC article. Thats hardly Donald Trump.

I honestly wouldn't even be surprised at this point if these inbreds want him on Mt Rushmore, spray painted orange and all. It's a goddamn cult.

I heard that Russians are professionals in this field. Actually, there is a cyber attack almost every second, we just don't know about these attacks because they are not so important and usually they are blocked. I noticed that there are more and more companies like https://www.swiftcomm.co.uk/products/managed-it-services/cyber-essentials/ that offer cybersecurity services, and it becomes harder and harder to make a cyber attack without being spotted and stopped by security systems.

Oh yeah, Russia isn't afraid of taking us on. Biden is too weak.
Crazy how weak the US has become in the matter of one year.
Let's all take a trip down MEMORY LANE back to 'those Golden Days' when we were led by Donald "Don't You Dare Mess with Me" Trump and the United States responded quickly and decisively to direct threats such as a massive, 'In Your Face' Russian-Sponsored Cyber-Attack.

Isn't it crazy how Vladdy got the bizarre notion he was untouchable and could do pretty much ANYTHING without consequences?

Remind me when it escalated past cyber attacks to actual invasions.
The Russian cyber-attack was directed at the United States for crying out loud!!! Those don't count now?

First we ignore the attack then when it finally hits the media, Trump blames it on China. I. kid. you. not.

If this was the response of a STRONG U.S. President, what would lead Ol' Vladdy to believe a WEAK one like Joe Biden could rally a united NATO in a worldwide effort to stop him from destroying Ukraine??!?

Didnt Trump pitch the idea to actually work with Russia on our cybersecurity? Nothing couldve possibly gone wrong with that.

Our resident Trumpsters would have us all believe he was a strong foreign leader compared to Biden.

Hell, during Trump's tenure, he was on the verge of withdrawing our nation from NATO! Gee, I wonder who THAT would have benefited???

I have a feeling Trump as POTUS right now would have completely downplayed this whole thing while his chuds gave him a tongue bath.

Didn't Biden give Russia a list of things that they shouldn't hack? Like pretty please don't hack these because they are really important to us?

He was never on the verge of withdrawing from NATO. He was using leverage to get the Europeans to pay for more of their own protection. (Which they did.) He also spoke out against Europe making Russia their main/solo oil provider and was against the Russia to Germany pipeline which Biden approved of.

HE tried to set guidelines about not hacking critical infrastructure, since we have cyber attacks against them as well. I dont see why that is a big issue. If Trump had his way Russia would have access to all of the security on those things, so not remotely close to being the same thing.

Trump literally blamed an attack on China, despite his own people telling him it was Russia. So if that is the route you want to go down, then explain to me how Trump, the super tough guy who Putin was scared of, went out of his way to blame cyberattacks on a different country, knowing full well it was Russia?

According to Trump's National Security Advisor, John Bolton, Trump was on the verge of withdrawing from NATO in 2018. Bolton said that he tried to convince him not to withdraw at that time. He also said that we'd already be out of NATO if Trump had won a second term as Putin was expecting.
