Not only was he unwilling to call out Russia on their cyber-attacks, remember his famous (or I should say infamous) comments at their summit in Helsinki, he told the world he didn't believe that Russia interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election even though all of our U.S. intelligence agencies said otherwise.
“I don’t see any reason why it would be,” Trump said during a joint press conference with Putin at the time. “President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today.”
Yep, but he was the only guy on the planet who Putin was intimidated by, or something.
So, Republicans can pretend Putin was Trump's bitch, but we arent allowed to point out that didnt appear to the case? Is that the logic behind this pointless response, or is this the sound you make when you are having happy time with yourself?
The point is that Trump hasn't been president for 14 months but you still have him hiding under your bed while the real world is in chaos. Get. Over. It.
Which has nothing to do with anything. The guy is going to be running again in a few years and is still relevent. But if Republicans are going to slobber all over Trump as the guy Putin wouldnt mess with, we are more than welcome to respond, since history (real history, not the Republicans wanting to erase kind of history )indicates different.
I also dont know where this idea came from that we arent allowed to talk about former presidents, especially one who still gives rallies and events, still releases statements, etc etc. So if he runs in 2024 can we talk about him then, or only if he wins and after he is sworn in?
We arent doing this game that you like to do. First off I asked you a question that you completely ignored, so you answer mine first. Second, when he was president if people criticized him we had "TDS", now that he isnt president apparently we arent even allowed to talk about him. If the guy was so great, then why is it you dont want anyone talking about him?
And finally, the guy is obviously a political candidate in 2024. We can talk about future political candidates, and dont need your permission or approval to do so, just saying.
You don't need my approval for anything. Keep believing that Trump somehow matters anymore if it helps keep you up at night. After all, it's not like we had 4 years of experience in what Russia would do with Trump in the White House.

He is still the defacto head of the party, politicians are still kissing his ass in hopes of an endorsement, Clay Travis did his radio show with him in Florida like 2 weeks ago, he still has rallies that thousands of people show up for, just started his social media site, people have brought him up on this board like Putin was terrified of him, etc etc. If you dont think he matters, you might want to tell that to all of those people who most certainly think he matters.

None of us have any clue of who cyber attacked us and who didn't. Guess what I am willing to bet BOTH countries did it under Obama and Trump and now Biden. It is what your enemies do. They probe so to see responses. This stuff is no different than when a Russian Bear Bomber was escorted off of the Florida coast back in the cold war days. Each side would send flights to test how close the other could get to size up capabilities. Now the cyber attacks holding companies hostage for money were criminal events . Hey,my son's bank account got hacked and he fell for the scam. They were likely eastern European .
Dude, I am pragmatic . I am a diehard freedom loving American. I have family who came here in 1667 and a few generations or so fought against the king in the American Revolution.i have family that died at Gettysburg in union blues. Grandfather served in WWI as a calvary officer . Uncle died in B-17 as tail gunner over North sea in WWII. Dad was electronics weapons officers in the Navy in the 1950s attached to VF-31. Brother was a third in command of a boomer in the 80s. I F-ING HATE communism and Putin. I am no apologist for that turd.

On the surface the Clintons hung out with Putin ,arranged a deal where Putin owns 20% of the uranium mining interests . Bill got paid $500k to give a speech in Russia . The Clintons were neck deep in that place,but I don't blame them . I blame Putin for being a dick horse here.
We got gaping holes here man. We got virus issues, cyber issues, energy issues. We are vulnerable and have been for years. Go ahead blame the orange man if it helps you sleep better. The difference between you and I ,is I don't have a lot faith in the federal government government to do anything right . I don't trust Republicans or Democrats here. Again, when you can't get log out of your own political eye nothing will change for the better in our nation. Democrats have a ton dirt and failure on their hands as much as Republicans my friend .

You don't want discussion. You want validation and group-think. He made some interesting points worthy of discussion and you didn't even consider them.
