SEC-B1G Announcement

Failed alliance or part of Big Ten plans to expand their conference.
The Big Ten played the Pac 12 like a fiddle. You didn't need to be a Football Einstein to figure out the new game that was being played once Texas and OU announced they were leaving the Big 12 for the SEC.

CFB has crossed the Rubicron.
There are 40 or so teams that will form a new division, and collect billions. You guys hate @LoboCane, but he is correct that only 4 or 5 not in BIG or SEC will have a seat.
ND, Miami, FSU, Clemson, very few come close to that group in CFB accomplishments.

No single team left in the big12 is a target, they lost their 4 top programs, I feel bad for KU and their long bb history, but as I said, they crossed the rubicon

What’s it like husking Tom Osborne’s corn every night?

I don't think they agreed to that for the next two years thought right? it was a 5 and 7 model (5 conference champs and 7 at large).

If SEC/BIG have their own playoff I'm just gonna watch UCF.

UM won't be in the B1G. Notre Dame will eventually join and probably North Carolina.

The Florida school with the best chance of being getting an invite is Florida State. But its not a given.
Why is UNC desirable? Their football is mid. Always has been.

I don't deny what you're saying.

But trust me, the B1G has always had a hard-on for the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill going back to the days when Jim Delany ruled the Big Ten with an iron fist. (Delany was himself, a UNC grad.)

Will it happen? Who knows? But be careful about counting the Tar Heels out.

TV market.

Virginia is also more desirable than people realize, but lacks the TV market of other programs.

Shortly after the Maryland and Rutgers invites, the hot rumor was that North Carolina and Virginia were next. If those two are able to escape their ACC prison cells, I suspect the B1G is still interested.
