If things are equal and people want it, why is the concept a bad thing?

Exactly. Equal is the goal, but that requires some caveats
Equality of outcome (equity) is never going to be possible because, no matter how much you try to equalize for factors like opportunity and environment, everyone is actually different and will end up in different places. The closest that we’ve ever had to equity on this earth is the USSR and I don’t think anyone other than Bernie Sanders want to make that a reality here in the States.

People don’t want it. A small group of retards on Twitter and social media want it. Everyone else is pretty normal and not into the idea.
Apparently the California state board of education and the American Medical Association are all in as well as they both are launching initiatives to address the inequities within their areas. In the California instance, it’s by following Virginia’s lead and eliminating advanced math tracks. The AMA is a lot more ambiguous and broad in how they are going to achieve equity in standard of care. How they are going to systemically produce the same outcome regardless of many complicating factors should be very interesting.

The unelected CA state board of education is part of the same group of retards on Twitter I was referring to. They’ll fail miserably.

Looks like separate but equal to me. Whites get KFC, black people get Popeyes.
