A little Parker Navarro MACtion tonight. I turned it on to watch him throw a pick but they are winning so far. 6 teams at 4-2 or better. Every week from now on is essential a playoff game.

Tommy Guns butthurt then quits BC….in November…nice.

"this conference is terrible this year"

I disagree, it's more like there is parity in the conference and the teams predicted to finish last are on top. Just because BYU lost the conference is terrible? Huh?

BYU beat itself last night. They played pretty good, but had some break downs. Kansas played great. Just my opinion. The Big12 race is getting interesting. Colorado is playing great along with Arizona State. Two UCF losses and predicted to not even be bowl eligible this year.

Is the conference terrible? or, just topsy turvy?

It actually doesn’t matter what we think. The playoff committee says B12 and ACC suck. They want 9 of the 12 teams to be from SEC and B1G. B1G isn’t really good. That’s why Indiana is looking great. The usuals are having down years. Michigan missing Harbaugh bad. Penn st is always second tier. Wiscy and Michigan St aren’t great. I don’t get thinking B 10 is elite. They aren’t.

College Football (overall) is having a down year, and that's putting it kindly. But programs like Indiana have helped identify that success starts with the HC who develops a "culture" of winning. And that starts with a HC who is focused on that. Cignetti (IU HC) dedicates a substantial window of weekly practice time to red zone situations. There’s some scheme involved, new wrinkles on old concepts to keep the offense fresh in front of a defense that’s had time to review prior film. And there’s the less tangible side of it — building a rapport between players and a determination that drives already so close to the end zone should always end there. Does Gus do any of these things? Unfortunately, after his years here, the obvious answer is no....

Gus and LSU coach Kelly, should both be looking for new teams after this year. Both are old school and can’t adapt.

Unfortunately, byu losing was bad for the conference, I have read several articles pushing the narrative that if Army and Boise State both going defeated, the big twelve champion will not get in the playoff.

The Big 12 stinks this year ..been saying it for weeks that Iowa State and BYU didn’t pass the eye test.

Colorado is the best hope for a playoff win or two for the conference. They are playing real well down the stretch and have the athletes if the trenches can hold up.

would have been a perfect year for UCF to make a run but we have inept leadership.

So you are saying TPTB want to give the appearance of being fair and balanced all the while they are secretly colluding to put teams in the playoffs that are going to generate the most money?

No way!

The top four preseason favorites (Utah, Okie State, Arizona, and UCF) to win the BIG 12 all rank at the bottom of the standings. The Big 12 is pretty strong.

Meanwhile, the ACC is so pathetic that SMU can win the league.

Cracking Up Lol GIF

I don’t care about the B12 standings. Big 10 is not good and Indiana and Penn St are overrated because of that. No one will tune in for Indiana. Penn St hasn’t been great in a long time. Long time.

Real possibility at the very least B12 champion will be lower ranked than at least MWC or AAC and maybe both.

Won't take much for the media/country to view Big 12 like they did Pac 12.

"ranked"

BIG12 is stronger than the ACC this year. BYU went on the Road and beat ACC leader SMU. Difference is perception. when SMU does good its good and ACC is fine. If Arizona State does good the BIg12 "sucks" its all smoke and mirrors to push recruits to the SEC which ESPN owns

Well those are some bullshit articles cause all P4 champs are guaranteed a spot.

  • The four highest-ranked conference champions will be seeded 1-4 and each will receive a first-round by
The five highest-ranked conference champions and the next seven highest-ranked teams will earn a spot in the 12-team bracket. There is no limit to how many teams from one conference can qualify. The rules also don't guarantee spots for certain conferences. The champions of the Big 12, SEC, ACC and Big Ten will almost certainly routinely qualify, though, along with the highest-ranked champion from the Mountain West, American Athletic Conference, Sun Belt, Mid-American Conference or Conference USA.

The assumption is that B12 would be part of the four. However, MWC (Boise State) is ranked higher than any B12 team.
