I'm not a GOL hater, I'm very appreciative of all he has done for us and the program he has built here. That said it's crystal clear what this program needs and that is new blood. If he was 55 then maybe he could dig out of this but he isn't so recruiting is going to be a huge issue.
I raise this because I talked to a lot of people today both in our large tailgate group and outside. I don't know of anyone left that thinks GOL staying is a good thing. Looking at the stands it's pretty concerning to think about what next year will look like if he returns. It won't be pretty, I really hope UCF realizes the stakes here.
So back to the question, I'd like to hear from anyone that still thinks GOL returning next year is what is best for our program and why?
