NFL sold-out the Cardinals Stadium on less than 4 days notice...and I was wondering if the NFL might put out to bid future Playoff sites to Bowl like sites?
Cities would offer $$$$ and owners would probably make more $$$ and dome or warm weather sites would provide the best environment for optimal conditions.
1st round playoff games?
Maybe a Final Four sites? (AFC Championship on Saturday, NFC Championship on Sunday)
NFL moves games to Europe for thr $$$ and now thr NFL got a taste of a "neutral" site playoff game last night, wonder if cities start offering up $$$ to the NFL to get a piece of post-season that ISN'T the Super Bowl game.
Thinking about some past near 0 degree playoff games that provided horrible environments for their product, having neutral like warm or domestic sites could make a blast weekend for fans and provide good conditions for a game.
What say you?
PS. I could see NFL giving ONE playoff game to a site in the future to test the waters for starters.
