After last night this is a real possibility. We still need to become more consistent on offense but that 2nd half demonstrates the potential of the offense if JRP settles down, our receivers stop dropping passes, and our o-line blocks. Defense and special teams look to be atop their game
Javon Baker dropped that slant and fumbled it around up in the air so bad that it was nearly and should have been intercepted. He may have taken that one to the house too, no one was in front of him. The drops have been bad, a lot last night too.
Kobe also had a big drop on 3rd and long in first half. Jrp avoided a rush, rolled out and hit him right in the hands. He catches that and we are either tied at 13 or up 17-13 at half
Gus finally play called to things Plumlee can do in the 2nd half, which I have been commenting about for 3-4 weeks. Hopefully we keep those things in the play book. Loved seeing the slants and variations off that. Now we need to mix in screens and flare out passes to RBs to slow blitzes down.
Was so glad to finally see some slant routes. They seem to be a great option for JRP. Like to see more crossing routes on 3rd and 5, etc., hopefully with receivers knowing where the sticks are.
Right in the hands after having to jump 3 feet in the air because JRP sailed it on him. Agree he still needs to come down with it but it was by no means the perfect pass so cant put all the fault on Kobe.

Agree, if you're fully extended and can't come down with it, it's not a drop.
The UCF Knights Have 'Suspect' Bowl Projections
There’s much to be desired with recent UCF bowl projections from Jerry Palm of CBS Sports.

A split would put us at 6-2 in the conference. In contention for the CCG depending on tiebreakers. Currently the only other teams without a conference loss are Cincy and Tulane and they play each other.
Well let us know when these 3 become good teams……as Tom Cruise said “not today”.
Any of the 3 would be by far the best road victory under Malzahn. And probably the best since Temple 2019 who was 8-5. The last 8-5 team we beat on the road prior to that was ECU in 2014.
