We'd get killed on the inside with that lineup so unless our guys were among the best 3-point shooters in the country that starting group's a no go....the roster needs a couple of true C's (at a minimum) and bulk up our PF's.Mikey (if eligible)
DJ
Sellers
Hall
Sylla
Will probably start at this point
Emuobor (if he comes out of portal)
Benny Williams
Avery (if he comes out of portal)
Realistically if you bring in a few more guys you will be okay. Losing a couple commits set us back, but we have a really good core of 5-6 guys (if Mikey is eligible)
Spot on. We need to go after bigs hard! I agree with sylla being an okay backup stretch 4 but should be limited to 10 min a gameDefinitely agree with you regarding the shortage of bigs.
They’re going to use Keyshawn Hall as a small ball power forward. The Syracuse transfer - Williams - can also play forward.
But a plus-rebounding and rim/protecting starting big is a must (like a Diallo). Not a fan of Sylla whatsoever, but he’s fine as a backup stretch-5.
So we now have not one big?!?😂😂 oh lordAnnnd Sylla is now gone lol

These were still available this week for shot-blocking centers:Simply looking at the portal, here are a couple guys that make sense -
RJ Melendez - Georgia - Played HS in Kissimmee, would be a good starting guard if Mikey isn't eligible. Would likely be able to backup the 1-3 spots but probably wants a starting role.
Kaleb Brown - Mizzou (SG/SF)
Mohamed Wague - Bama (PF/C)
Jalen Smith - SMU - PG from Orlando
Jalen Speer - FAMU - PG from Gainesville
Jordan Nesbitt - Hampton (PG)

someone who already has their degree and now wants to play their final year in a power league....... who the hell would transfer from Harvard ...
They haven't had a good season in the past several years. There is a "jock"/legacy major (in political science), but they've been clamping down on exam cheating there....... who the hell would transfer from Harvard ...
