I can't believe Gorsuch's SCOTUS confirmation is the "worthy" cause that sets the wheels in motion to end (likely forever) the filibuster. If the Dems were smart, they'd let this go and save it for a much bigger battle looming later (and there will be a few). But alas, they're not. Gorsuch is a fair judge and deserves the nomination.

I stand corrected. The filibuster will only be removed for SCOTUS nominations. It will remain for legislation. It was removed by the Dems in 2013 for all cabinet nominated positions.
