Good, who cares about the NFL other than those made ultra rich by it and those who willingly made them ultra rich.
How in the hell is the public supposed to respond to this announcement from the NFL?
The very notion that the league has actually been “race-norming” cognitive functioning in brain injury cases filed against them is about as abhorrent and disgusting as it gets. Yeah, guys, tell us all again how racism in America is dead.

It's seems like they could have used the wonderlic scores on an individual basis for the claim instead of a blanket policy.
You would think. I wonder what the statistical baselines would be if they released all of the scores.
A lot of people since it’s the most popular sports league in this country. Even if the game evolves into flag football it will take a long time before it is not the highest rated sports league in this country. Can’t deny the facts.
Next time people complain about players holding out for more money, or tell them to "shut up and play," or any of that other bullshit, remember this. No matter how much money you make, no matter how valuable you are to the team, no matter how much you put your body and mind on the line...you're still just there to make them money.

NFL players are not slaves; especially not any of them from the last 20 years. Racially taken advantage of, it sure looks that way. Deserve recompense if it turns out that the baseline wasn’t back by data but was racially motivated; absolutely. But not slaves in any sense of the word.

I call that a collectively bargained draft system. Collective bargaining and slavery are mutually exclusive.
A few corrupt old billionaires and their millionaire GMs is not an “enormous” amount of the population. The majority of the population of the US is not racist nor acting out your bigoted fantasies against black people.
Chemmie has a white savior complex. He needs the rest of us disgusting whites to be actual white supremacists so he can fight valiantly against us and save the helpless black folks. This is how he feels good about himself.
I love my old hometown of Chicago and there are some great character takeaways from the people that live there. Unfortunately, after years of reading his posts, it appears that chemmie took all of the worst ones.

My two cents: Back in my Air Force 'Human Relations' training days in the late 70s, we were taught that there's only one race, the human race. Also, again we see the impact of big money on these type of issues as well as misconceptions about people. Therefore, my bone of contention although I have no representation is against billionaires and politicians who think that being racist against any skin color makes things better.

Its not about ‘making things better.’ They just see most people — black or white — as beneath them.
