Lawknight posted the following article and now the whole thread disappeared. What's up?
https://ucf.forums.rivals.com/threads/ucf-to-eliminate-the-kingdom.121019/

It referenced this shabbily written SI article which reported:
- "they will assume direct leadership of their revenue to enhance NIL deals"
- "UCF will now benefit from its student-athlete deals."
- "without a collective, UCF's recruiting momentum would come to a stop, giving athletes less incentive to join the Knights"
https://www.si.com/fannation/name-i...r-school-to-eliminate-nil-collective-program-

This opens a shed-load of questions as I thought it was pretty well established that universities could not direct NIL funds. This article sounds incriminating. Is that why it was taken down?

I still see it, but I don't know. It literally popped up on my feed because I follow ucf news. i think the article did say that they are waiting for a ruling which won't come to july

Oops, I missed the House vs NCAA class action lawsuit that paved the way for revenue sharing, direct management, and front office operations. It appears UCF is now a sports franchise with an academic side hustle.
