Um, USAID is more or less a an executive slush fund and has not had any real oversight in like decades. We are in this mess because Congress constantly delegates it's Constitutional oversight away to the bureaucrats in almost all of its funding legislation. So, getting ones panties in a wad over Elon suggesting things need to be cut is kind of silly. As a business owner and tax payer into the system 24 times a year I could care less who is cutting this crap.. THEY are WASTING our money..it needs to stop. I owe no allegiance to the Federal government or its employees. None. My allegiance is the Constitution ,The Bill of Rights and perhaps the Declaration of Independence.

USAID should just go away in my opinion. There is nothing in the Constitution that's says the Federal government was created to tax its citizens so it can give away money to foreign interests abroad. I dont bust my butt in my business and pay the government so they turn around fund the media in Ukraine or Sesame Street in Bahgdad.
