In the first 10 years of the conference, the AAC was the best conference 8 times. Since the good teams left you are 0-2.

Newsflash, moving up in the world is difficult and sometimes makes for a tough transition.....and honestly we didn't know our coach wasn't up to the task until after game 4 last year.
We fully realize we are near the bottom of the P4 teams at present.......but it's WAY better than being a poor G5 team as usf has been the past 5-6 years. You do know that you haven't beaten an FBS team that finished with a winning record in over 5 years right? We did that twice just last year.
So wander over to the crap pen if you really want to see a delusional fan base. Quite simply, the economics will keep you a G5 team. You can't afford to pay $20M per year for a stadium PLUS $20M a year for the NIL court settlement that P4 teams have agreed to.

A few of us knew 2 years ago Gus wasn’t good enough. After JRP first season , AAC and he didn’t tear it up. That’s when we started noticing the bad clock management, not knowing rules, only caring about the play sheet, and so on.
But as soon as season was over the Booms started and people would forget he can’t coach for some reason. Thats started happening with Frost too. Everyone is excited about guys coming. No idea if they are actually good but a guy in his own basement gives Him 4 stars and high fives all around.

Hard to say anyone knew the first year of JRP....JRP turned out to be better than alot of us thought on athletic ability alone, but kept getting hurt abusing his body doing stupid things. Things really came to light after game 4 last year when a bunch of guys quit and the rest of the team quit mentally.....then we started hearing these stories.
