Gus started 3 different QBs, none of whom were on the team last season, before finally starting Rizk, who is in his second year here. What the hell does Gus do in practice?

Enjoying this game, but how do we trust Gus moving forward?

There’s no way NO WAY that Tim Harris is bringing in JBrown at QB. That has Gus fingerprints all over it.

Gus seems like a good person and a great recruiter. He also seems to know good talent(minus QB). He just isn't a good play caller. I would be ok if he stayed a recruiter/ceo, and have offensive and defensive coordinator/play caller.
If Gus has any amount of moxy (balls?) he won’t allow Jacurri Brown to see the field the rest of the game.
No. You don’t come in for your only job and carelessly fumble. This program is diseased by bad leadership. Sit him on the bench and maybe he does better next game.
We have been so spoiled with RJ. Nobody can make chunk plays out of nothing like him. We failed him this season in terms of team results, but he has certainly played his way into a day 2 draft pick. Just stay healthy.
I respect your opinion, but I disagree. I would rather Jacurri take that hit than Rizk, if he is going to be our QB1 for the next few years.
Wildcat is very effective with Harvey. You can't ignore the play.
Let's win these next few games get over .500 for 2024 but Tik Tok needs to still have a frank conversation with Gus that the expectation in 2024 is no less than 10 Ws, and if by the 4th-5th week it isn't going that way, he needs to do his job as a (measly) AD..
We cannot be so mediocre to not reach a minimum of 10 Ws in the season in 5 year period Malzahn at the helm. Statistically, our best year with Malzahn was 2023 and we weren't at all competitive in achieving the B12 title nor did we even win our bowl game. Mediocre.
So yeah be happy with this win (finally after 5 losses) but please don't forget Malzahn remains on the hot seat unless you are okay with mediocre results, especially in such a high-visibilty season with Colorado and UF on our schedule in 2024 and losing so badly to them.

Thrilled with the way today went. Gus was much better in a game manager role. Harris was great using Rizk and his skill set.

I’m still floored Gus was letting Rizk rot on the bench as the 4th stringer while all these newcomers struggled to complete a pass.
Hey Gus. Any chance you noticed how successful the offense was as a balanced attack instead of RJ up the middle three straight times? No I didn’t think you did.
I'm not sure I want to know what he does in practice but I wish we could get him off the sidelines. I just don't trust him not to interfere and "F" things up. Keep him away from the QB! What a display by Gus on his inability to evaluate players!
Really makes me angry! I am going to be even more angry if Rizk doesn't stay because of Gus the Bust!

Seems like Zona is on the same level as Sam Houston. Let's see if we can finish the year. Last year we surprised Ok State in the space game.

Dylan command of pass offense is like night and day with others.
One thing that is worth noting: This is Rizk’s 2nd year learning the system. The others who have played are in their first year here. So maybe… there’s some hope of development of a qb? Maybe?

Watching the Gus press conference. Never have I seen anybody look as disappointed after a blowout win as he does. I think this was the game he realized that his time is over and the changing of the guard is real.
This why you don't bring in one year players to play QB.
Gus still doesn’t believe that somebody that can pass forward can succeed. He is in shock.
