Speechless ... (AAC projections)

Whether we beat ranked teams or not, a one loss CC will get in over us, a likely 2 loss+ team.

I'd rather pull for us to at least make championship game. NY6 ain't happening. Louisville took care of that.

If we lose 2+ games we aren’t making the CC game.

The AAC team has always gone to the NY6 with one more loss than an inferior conference

I don’t care about the AAC being ranked , especially in our last season
You guys really think this way? You don’t want to play and beat ranked teams in conference games, whatever conference you’re in? That’s just weird man, very very weird. I think you are in extremely rare company, like basically just the 2 of you.

I WANT to play ranked teams, of course. But not if it comes at the expense of us making the title game. If Memphis wins out and we lose to Cincy, guess what?...we're likely sitting home watching them play for the hardware.

The AAC sucks. Every team has lost an out of conference game. None of them "deserve" to be ranked based on their performances thus far.

Cincinnati, Memphis, and UCF will decide the conference championship. Those are the cream of the crop. Not certain who will come out on top yet. Memphis and Cincinnati do not play. UCF faces both.

The Louisville game will have no bearing on whether UCF plays in a NY6 bowl. Gus and Auburn lost to LSU early in 2014 and still played for the BCS National Championship game at season's end. If UCF runs the table, it is in.

Other teams winning or losing or beating each other up doesn’t mean anything or matter when we play them. We have to win conference games regardless for the hardware, so I’d rather them be better record ranked teams. The teams are the teams, they are what they are, so why hope they beat each other up instead of hoping for best teams to win and be ranked, cream rising to the top and all that? We still have to win the games to win the conference, so why not wanting to win against ranked opponents?

Agreed. UCF running the table we get the NY6 game.

Memphis crapped bed. There goes one team that could have been ranked. I wouldn’t be surprised if the NY6 comes from another conference. Unless our Champ has at most 2 losses. May need only 1 the way its going.

C=USA and MAC are already eliminated from NY6. Maybe San Jose St is the one to watch. Just the close loss at Auburn and a pretty clear road to the Mountain West title game. No Boise St on the regular season schedule.

I think it is either Sunbelt Conf Champ or AAC. Sunbelt has been crushing P5 matchups. If us or Cinci wins out though it’s a wrap.

JMU or CC has a very good chance of running the table. JMU plays Louisville and CC plays Virginia. They meet for their last regular season matchup. Will be interesting to follow.
