Josh Celiscar and Devin Hester made their presence felt consistently in positive ways.

Reserves who made some plays were Lee Hunter, Dallas Corbitt, Cole Joyce, Quade Mosier, William Wells, Kadeem Leonard, Kervins Cupuit, Marco Domio, Jaiden Francois, and Landon Woodson. These guys will earn more playing time in the fall.

Biggest disappointments were Morris-Brash, Kobi Perry, and K.D. McDaniel. I think I herd Morris-Brash's and McDaniel's names once or twice each on the radio broadcast. The offensive line I'm certain had something to do with that. Perry, meanwhile, did not live up to expectations. His biggest mention was being injured.

UCF has deficiencies along the defensive line (Edge) and at linebacker (Depth) and will need to address these issues through the portal.

Great spring game. The offense is loaded with talent in all positions. They seemed to have the upper hand over the defense. Although, I believe the number 1 offense always faced the number 2 D. Several missed tackles resulted in big plays. The linebacker position has a lot of young players which needs to continue to improve during the fall preseason camp. Great showing by everyone that played.

Jarvis Ware definitely didn’t play, not sure if the radio guys got mixed up. He was in a jersey on the sidelines next to Terrence Lewis and Nikai Martinez.

I mean, that’s not the setting for Morris-Brash to make a bunch of plays. Plays are blown dead before you can hit the QB, and he’s the top pash rusher in the program.

I get that he could still get in the backfield without hitting the QB, but we don’t know what kind of slants and rushes the defense was calling (knowing they couldn’t touch the QB). Morris-Brash will be more than fine, they already know what they have in him.

I only watched the first half before my 4-year old was done but my impression is that this practice was geared towards offensive success. Which is exactly as it should be.
