That might become more and more less likely with these top recruit commits now that we are in the Big12, but time will tell. Nw being in a power conference, these guys can stay local and their families can see them play 7-8 times per year. That’s important, plus UCF in Oviedo is just far enough to feel like you aren’t in Lakeland, Kissimmee or Apopka. UCF is really set up nicely actually, don’t have many nicer campuses out there, with this size student body, fan support and this type of favorable weather.
UCF really has a unique setup in Florida and in the South in general . You got a nice mix of college area, suburban, resort style, and urban. Not too big like a program in Atlanta but not too small and secluded like some of these towns where other Programs are located
Possibly but UF just lost a RB that’s been committed for a while from Instate Benjamin school in North Palm Beach. He jumped ship for UGA. There are still people that will steal recruits.
