Frankly, I'd rather have some money sent out to families who desperately need it than spend half a trillion dollars in undisclosed payouts in undisclosed amounts to undisclosed corporations like the Trump Treasury Dept. did this summer. I hope the Biden Administration will finally pull the covers off that giveaway to Friends of Trump.

Crony capitalism is socialism. It’s just for the select few. This Bill wastes so much money. Why does this Bill establish a Women’s museum as well as a Latino one? Why does this Bill deal with horse doping in Kentucky or FAA plane certification? Why is so much money going to other countries? This is just a wealth transfer from the government to private groups while most Americans get 600 bucks, the dollar weakens and faith in government plummets. But hey, at least we can right off 100% of business meals now, of course restaurants aren’t open most places...
I have seen a grand total of zero people that are happy with this bill. On both sides it seems like a lot of people have finally come to the realization that Washington is screwing us over.
You know why they’re packing this bill. They can’t/won’t pass a budget and are stuck in the revolving CRA trap. So there’s no new money coming through. Thus they have to pork up anything going through to get anything going.
It wasn't just a COVID relief bill, it was a bill to fund the government. The internet misinformation wins again. The high standard of living that you enjoy is partially due to foreign aid, which they use to promote our agenda and fight bad guys abroad.

This is somewhat true in the case of domestic programs. It is not true in the case of foreign aid. This isn’t a jobs bill nor is it an infrastructure bill. It’s an emergency bailout for American residents. They’re just using the crisis to mitigate the absolute failure of Congress to do their jobs.

If we want to borrow money from our own people and China to pay for such things in other countries, then put it in the regular budget and pass the budget. Don’t use public panic to sneak it through the process.
