Why can't folks admit that. Both their big, bad offensive and defense lines were almost Michigan-like quality. Massive holes to run through and an impenetrable defensive line with among the finest rushes in the nation. Their receivers were huge, running backs great, and senior quarterback amazing.

Yet our team gave it all they had and have nothing to be ashamed of. They totally shut us down after the first quarter (especially after losing a top OL guy). They ran over us. We should just be glad we don't have to play Navy or Memphis this season. It takes time to develop. Great reality check. We were very lucky that ECU gave us a win, as I've said before.

They had the better coaches and QB. The Knights have everything to be ashamed of. The Knights offense shut themselves down.

Cause they lost to Army. That said losing to memphis put their back to the wall. Maybe we play like that from here on out.

they shouldnt have lost to memphis either....new coach and all.
It just amazes me that Temple is finding better unrated lineman talent in their region and GOL was missing on many players. GOL's biggest issue as to why he isn't here any more was his inability to bring in the big nasties upfront on the O-line. If frost is going to make this program a big winner he must do that or we will have limited success under his watch and he will not become a hot commodity. The other issue you have in the Frost offense is lineman can't be 330 pounds monsters like Alabama. We need our guys to be leaner but still have the same power. And that's why we got manhandled upfront by Temples defense. So hopefully Scott and staff will be able to find a lineman that can be lean, powerful and quick that we need to truly run this offense.

I'm glad Walker at Temple and Ward at Houston are finally seniors. I've had enough of them the last 4 years.

I hope we can squeeze out a few more wins to get bowl eligible.

we beat ourselves...110 penalty yards, 7 sacks - nearly 200 negative yards, sloppy undisciplined play, missed routine FG, total inability to run the offense, dropped passes, 4 missed interceptions, really easy pics btw, horrific play calling, pop warner clock management, got up 25-14 and lost by 1. That's what is sickening, i don't give Temple too much credit. They were better on both sides of the line, but we BLEW it.

.
Houston has 5 star QB Texas A&M transfer Allen waiting in the bullpen for them next season. They are not going away anytime soon and have raised the bar in recruiting

I am amazed that you found a way to rationalize the blame of this loss to GOL.... are you a Democrat?

Transfers so rarely work out. There is usually a reason that they left.
