The Charlie Strong aka Ron Zook reality for UWCF:

In 2016, Texas had the 7th rated class along with the #12 class in 2015.

While at UL, Strong had:
(In 2010, he didn't have much time to recruit but still had #3 class in Big East)
2011: #1 recruiting class Big East
2012: #2 recruiting class Big East
2013: #1 recruiting class AAC

We are going to get destroyed by Strong. We aren't #ucfstrongenough

Those were probably sex party years. A school that is willing to put Petrino and Pitino on the payroll will always have good recruiting classes. Absolutely no integrity.

Frost needs to have the campus golf cart tour zip through the middle of the Zeta house during Yoga hour

....and C. Florida built on their "Program Defining Win" by going 0-12 in 2015. LMAO!

While Louisville joined a Power 5 Conference in the ACC, finished the past two seasons ranked in the top 25, and just brought home a Heisman Trophy.

Enjoy being irrelevant in the AAC! Oh yea, if your coach ever gets to 8 or 9 wins he's gone....LOL!

Maybe you should focus on beating Houston and Kentucky before getting so cocky. Hope you enjoyed your late season collapse!

Sultan has a point, we shouldn't have turned down that P5 conference offer, that was dumb on our part.

I took my boys to that Louisville game. It was awesome to be there in person. Y'all can say what you want about Strong. I predict he will be at USF longer than Frost will be at UCF if both are successful. Once a coach is fired big time programs tend to shy away from them. He might even be statute worthy too.

Ha ha.....yea a collapse into the #13 ranking and a bowl game (Citrus Bowl) that is better than any AAC tie-in bowl.

Enjoy the Cure Bowl?.....against Arkansas? oh my bad.....Arkansas State, yea that's right. LOL!

So your reward for an amazing season is to come to Orlando?
Sounds about right.
Justice would be they sent us to Louisville for 0-12.

Strong = recruiting - check; defense - check; everything else - "out to lunch". USF needs to hope he gets a good supporting cast because he's going to need it to be successful but you can still blow it all with sucky game management.

Sultan is still butthurt about us ruining Louisville's season in 2013? Or just sad that they got that ass whooped by an AAC team each of the last 2 years.

It's funny how C. Florida is still so fixated on 2013. If you really think anyone at Louisville is concerned about that season any longer you are fooling yourselves. The irony in it all, is that C. Florida's "historic" win resulted in one of the most epic meltdowns of a program ever seen. Whereas Louisville's program rocketed into the ACC and the CFP discussion.

2013 was the only link between Louisville and UCF so it was the logical conclusion as to why a Louisville fan would be trolling the board. Again congrats on being ranked and losing in every AAC matchup since you left the conference. You surely were in the CFP discussion much like 2013 until you choked to an AAC team.

Talk about fixated on the past, you all haven't been in the CFP discussion for weeks now. Losing to Kentucky still stings don't it?

Give Sultan a break. He is a bit disappointed that UCF has "the Belt" between UCF and UL. If we ever get a chance to meet on the gridiron again they may have a chance to get it back. Until then he will point to anything but that.

We can all sit around touching ourselves to the memory of one win, but Strong is going to run the table on I4. He's a better recruiting and overall coach than Frost, and has a better team than us.

Better coach than Frost? Frost took an 0-12 roster and won 6 games in one year. Strong built a roster loaded with 4* and 5* talent and won 5 games.
Better recruiter? We'll see. USF is not Texas. No recruit grew up dreaming of playing at USF. In Texas, 5* players would come to him. Most of Strong's recruiting success at UL stems from the fallout of dirty recruiting at Miami.

You're comparing a first time coach with a HC of several years with mixed bag results.

The systems both teams use are entirely different from one another, will there be overlap on some recruits? Sure. Will every recruit narrow down their choices to us and USF? Probably not.

Plus Strong is defensive mind coach, Frost is an offensive mind coach.

It's impossible to have a conversation on this board that isn't full of delusion. I'm not a troll. I think this a very fair conversation to have as UCF fan. FL is packed full of great FL recruiters and we're the odd ones out.

No one's delusional, the fact you say we're going to be out recruited by FIU and FAU is laughable. I don't care if Bear Bryant was head coach there, their resources, lower lack of appeal and lower perceived conference won't affect us as much as you would imagine. Strong may have FL ties but he still is getting into the game late as hell, just like Frost was.

FSU, UF and Miami have been around long before USF and UCF were conceived. They have been there and will continue to be there.

You are basically making a statement about guessing what will happen so pardon us as UCF fans, if we get 'delusional' about your posts, especially if we disagree with you.

I actually agree with this. Strong is a good coach. He's nowhere near the best coach, but he has lead a more successful program than UCF. Yeah we beat them, but stop being idiots and acting like we wouldn't immediately switch places with them if we could. They're in a better place, and he helped lead them there. Still though, 2013 was f*cking awesome. But I digress.

I certainly think Strong is a better overall coach, or at least has shown the ability to be a better overall program builder, than Taggart. I think USF lucked out big time given what happened with Taggart leaving right when Strong became available, because it makes Strong beholden to USF more than it did with Taggart. Say what you will, but coaches who get second chances don't usually jump ship as easily and that's partially why we were able to keep O'Leary so long despite success that certainly got him offers. It won't buy the guys loyalty from another true Blue-Blood offer, but it might keep him from jumping to a Maryland or Kentucky level job.

He may be a good fit there but I'd much rather have an offensive minded coach vs Defense in today's College Football especially with at a Program with a limited Budget compared to the Texas and FSUs. There will be turnover with Assistants with more success and it's easier to find a DC to replace departures vs OCs that require more specific fits so its always an advantage of having a Head Coach who can call offensive plays if needed

ImissBlake has only been around two days and he's already stale as an opened, week old beer.
