This post doesn't make much sense. Which year are you talking about? In 2016 Obama ran a $585B deficit. In 2017, we ran a $666B deficit. I would put 2017 on Obama since the spending was set in 2016.
you may have to be stupid to think that the economy got this way in a year. Also, everything looks great on borrowed money.

Parts of the economy were bigly good, but this did show how there were some systemic weaknesses. Last September I was listening to an economist that predicted we would enter a depression in the 2nd quarter of 2020, way before covid came up.

Their approach is so insane. Just opening things back up when we are far from in control. Now its a wildfire. We have vaccines in late stage trials so all of this second boom in deaths will be for nothing. We could have waited a few months and really been in a good spot to roll out vaccines with tens of thousands fewer deaths. Now when we roll vaccines out it will be into a country where many areas have already felt the full effect of the virus.
