Worst tradition in the history of everything. Just GTFO, no one wants to see or hear from you any more. Same goes for any outgoing President.
It blows my mind still that you all think this country is worse off than when he began. What world do you live in?
Maybe the thousands that have been murdered in just Chicago during his tenure?
Then again, maybe to some liberal wackos, that's actually considered an accomplishment.
In Obama's defense, I'd rather be dead than live in Chicago.

We have ISIS, race wars, police being hunted in the streets, not to mention I'm now paying $425 a month for health insurance instead of the $150 I was before. SOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER!!! I know you're largely basing your judgment on gay marriage but that had nothing to do with Obama, that was a Supreme Court decision.

Life is never going to be perfect for everyone - you can only think about yourself and not about how the rest of the country may be doing better. Obamacare might not be doing amazing for you (it has it's flaws, I think EVERYONE notes that) but it came in handy for me earlier this year when I lost my job. Luckily, the economy is pretty good right now (not for everyone but overall) and I was able to find a job way quicker than I was in 2008.
ISIS and groups like that have existed for quite awhile and will continue to exist for quite awhile - all we can do is take each threat as it comes and do our best to defeat it.

ISIS hasn't existed for quite a while. They've been around since Obama completely abandoned the ME and they filled the power vacuum. How about Russia invading countries? Red line in Syria and hundreds of thousands being slaughtered?
The economy has been doing pretty meh. It's the worst recovery of any modern President. He's also the only President to never have 2% growth in GDP. It's better than 2009 but it should be doing a lot better with much higher Fed rates.
Can you list some things that Obama made better? Besides of course only caring about yourself and getting cheap health insurance.
One that you obviously have little experience in. I have no doubt you have no clue in terms of financial issues. The economy is horrible right now, employment is horrible right now and God help anyone that has to deal with the government regulation nightmares.
Please bq, tell us what you do for a living that would give you the idea that the economy is good.

remember that time obama won the nobel peace prize. he then proceeded to be at war every single day of his 2 terms. i believe thats longer than any other us president. thats saying something when you consider lincoln and fdr. or those 26k bombs he dropped in 2016 alone. i think that works out to 3 bombs an hour, 24 hours a day for 2016.

Here's a kicker: Barack Obama utterly failed black America. He is not a man, and was never fit for the office. He failed to demand more from the social movement to which so many black Americans have attached themselves and bonded emotionally. BLM is not its namesake... it's a word play and glorified name for "f*** the police, f*** the system, and f*** white people". BLM has done nothing to combat the primary threat to black lives, and has done nothing to lay a foundation for real improvement of black lives. All it has done is incite fear and anger amongst AA's, encourage nonsensical protest tactics and rioting, and pissed everyone off around them. Obama didn't have the courage to tell black America that BLM is fundamentally flawed, and never lifted a finger to show them the true path to elevation and improvement of lives. He failed to effectively condemn rioting and aggression and racism against majority citizens by minorities... and he failed at it deliberately because he was too afraid to lose his constituency, and pandering to negative emotions was easier than leading down a path of real improvement of lives. Black America knows this in their gut... but few will admit it because they feel like they've made headway. But they have not. Race relations are terrible and blacks are no better off today than they were eight years ago. The Democratic Party of today doesn't want real improvement or uplifting of the inner city classes. And Obama is a Democratic Party puppet, not a man or great leader. He wholly and completely failed AA's as the first black president. It's sad

Hey @bqknight, a lot of people liked their doctors and their coverage. Why werent most of them able to keep them? Can you please explain why costs went up for nearly everyone yet the name of the bill was the Affordable Healthcare Act? How come enrollment numbers have dropped significantly over the past year?

It's actually impossible to try to refute any of you because even when I try to stay level headed and point out the good and bad, you all are so cynical and blinded by I don't even know what. It must really suck living in your world where everything is just doom and gloom and the slightest thing angers you to the extent it does.

To the ones saying I have never had financial trouble, I LITERALLY said I was unemployed this year right before that. I have had my fair share of financial issues, when it comes to many things, including healthcare. I do not believe the ACA is the best possible thing to do (granted, you'd probably hate what I would prefer more).
I have seen both good and bad throughout his 8 years but the vast majority of people that surround me were WAY worse off before he came into office. My house was about to be foreclosed on, my family lost all their savings, I couldn't find a job. Just because I'm young doesn't mean I'm an idiot. Maybe all of you have graduated to grumpy old men already. Enjoy yelling at the young whippersnappers and reminiscing about the good ole days of the Bush era.

That happened to most people and a lot still haven't recovered from it. 90M people have dropped out of the workforce because they couldn't find work. Just because you're doing better doesn't mean everyone else is. This is the main reason Trump was elected. Liberals ignored the middle and lower class. Wall Street has been doing great. Everyone else, not so much.
90 million people if you're counting college students or something. There's only 330 million in the country.
