Trump buying FB ads desperate for NY-ers to attend. Despite Trump's claims of the largest inauguration attendance ever, it seems the attendance could be less than half of the number for Obama in 2009.

And the list of lawmakers boycotting is now over 50

Locally, Rep. Darren Soto will be among those boycotting.
damn over 50 already?! Need to readjust my estimate to 72.

Wow a guy who has been in the US congress for less than a month is boycotting, how will Kissimmee survive.

My favorite part about Soto:

2000 graduated from Rutgers
2004 graduated from GW law school
2007 State representative
2012 State Senator
2017 US Rep

Dude has never had a real job yet he is elected to represent others. Only idiots vote for fools like this guy.

Could be said about so many politicians. Heck, Pasco County elected a 21-year old UCF student (current student, not a graduate) to the FL house in November.

They have the right to boycott. But he's still president for the next 4 years from Friday and they'll have to work with him during those 4 years. If it was me, I wouldn't start a working relationship by outwardly protesting his inauguration when he was fairly elected by the people.

YOUR LIFE MUST BE HORRIBLE.

You literally have nothing positive to say about anyone and just whine whenever someone is a liberal. Like, WTF happened to you? How bad is your life that you need to just destroy anyone who disagrees with you?

He went to school, went to law school, has been basically a public servant for his whole career but he has a D by his name, so you automatically hate him.

Would you hire someone with no experience to work for you? What does he know about paying for health insurance? What does he know about finding a job? What does he know about potentially losing a job? What does he know about anything that an average person has gone through?

He has no life experience, sorry he is not qualified to represent people with life experience.

My life, it has its ups and downs just like anyone else that has life experience.

He does have experience though. He's had jobs...I'm not sure what you are going for?

There is NO WAY a politician is going to have experience in every single issue. However, they do their research and gather advice and make decisions based on that.

If you want to go on no experience - why don't you focus on some of the picks Trump has made for his cabinet, where you're focused on ONE thing and yet they still have NO experience in those fields.

Your stupidity is astounding. He has had ZERO jobs before he was elected. His only real work experience was an intern with a finance company in college. Now I know you have little to no experience in anything so you relate to him. As from cabinet secretaries

Governor of South Carolina
Goldman Sachs executive
Governor of Texas
CEO Exxon Mobile
CEO of WWE
US Representative
CEO of CKE Restaurants
US senator
US Trade Representative
Current Under Secratary of Health at the VA
Retired Army Lietenant General
National Security aide under GW Bush
US Senator
Billionaire investor banker known for turnarounds

And so in and so on. What do they have in common, they have all been a success in real life. Trumps picks for his cabinet avaerage 6.8 years in government or academia. Obama's cabinet averaged 17.6 years in government or academia. That is to say, little to no real life experience.

Politician is not a career. Experienced politician is an oxymoron.

bq is so clueless he does not know that.

All I can say is sure. Every thread pretty much comes down to me saying something you disagree with and then you calling me clueless or young or uninformed. I guess we will just agree to disagree.

the term 'boycott' is only applicable if someone actually wants you there and you will be missed

these people are unimportant in general; let them sit at home and group think their sorrows into oblivion

There are many issues where I have no problem agreeing to disagree, Rep Soto, sorry you're wrong. He has NO experience at anything but working in government. Just like many other democrat congressmen, if not for the stupidity of their district, they would have no chance.

Similar to Joe Biden...who in less than a year working as a lawyer, he ran for local city council and won...then, 4 years later became a Senator in 1973 and remained working in DC since...all without much in "real life" experience, let alone zero business experience.

Biden's 44 year career was DC politics...and its people just like him for why we have so many problems today.

LOL.

He can't because in his eyes Joe has accomplished so much.

Joe does have a great smile, and also does good memes

idk.gif

He won't want the job after 1 year. He'll only last one term if that.
Says who? It's laughable that people keep trying to define Trump as if they know what drives him. Libs don't understand him and it's driving them crazy.
