the Line for FIU game

Wrong. This is for all intents and purposes Frost's job. Losing to an 0-3 team in your prime recruiting territory turns you into a Donny Jones dead man walking. Frost already hinted at attitude issues among several returning players during the Michigan game. So he would leave anything to chance nor let up on the gas until he's ahead by at least 35. This is a guaranteed statement game and a coming out party for the offense. Bet the ranch and first born on it. The FIU coach could be fired after this loss.

I heard this same thing in 2011. Hope you are right. All of us are expect a big win, but......

The statement that this game is for Frost's job is so inaccurate, irresponsible, and deplorable, that of this board was run by me, I would have to ban you from posting for 24 hours.

Danny doesn't owe his coaches anything. This is a slam dunk win and a 100 to 1 thing. So if he were to lose against a team on the rope and whose coach faces a midseason firing, it would be a major set back. Them's simply the facts. So he'll make sure that doesn't happen. I also said to bet the farm on it, because no way Frost would allow us to lose or even allow it to be close.

UCF could go 1-11 and Frost's job security would be the same.

It's idiotic to suggest his job is on the line in his first season and only one rushed recruiting class

Bull! The only way he loses to FIU is that he's lost control of his players, and he won't allow that to happen, even if he must toss a couple talented veterans off the team. GOL allowed FIU guys to get into our players' heads and talking smack. After Killins 15 yd penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct, I don't think he saw the field again.

I don't know about that. If Milton puts the ball on the ground a ton of times again we could lose this game. I don't see it happening, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. Turnovers, injuries, a couple bad bounces and calls - who knows. The Fiesta Bowl team loaded with experienced talent almost gave away the dream season at home against a miserable USF team because of a ton of bonehead turnovers.

I'm not saying there wouldn't be a meltdown here and Frost criticism but from the Top it's not even a topic.

You hire a new head coach after 0-12, they are going to get a pass on just about everything that first season.

Stop blaming all those screw ups on Milton. The RBs and those on the line weren't as prepared for the new QB, resulting in procedure penalties and bad exchanges. Any really think that wasn't a big focus this week in practice? That's why they named Milton the starter at the beginning of the week. Or that Milton won't have at least 2 decent runs? The only credible danger is Milton INTs or if our frosh RBs fail to secure the ball during runs.

Relax. Are you talking about losing to FIU now or if Frost's job is in jeopardy if we lose to FIU???? Bottom line is that any team can lose to another on any given day. Especially a semi-rivalry game, on the road and only a 6.5 point favorite. We will probably win by a lot, but never say never.

Never. Darn. Was trying not to say it. Returnees want revenge for last year. It's the start of a new dynasty tomorrow. UCF fans (and their families) will be louder than discouraged FIU stalwarts.

If we don't win by double digits, it will be a long season.

There is absolutely no way that Frost's "job is on the line" if we lose this game. That is as ridiculous as me saying if we win by a blow-out(35+) we should extend his contract and also give him 7million a year because he obviously is the second coming.

It has been interesting to watch the bar for season wins to get higher and higher each week. I can honestly say that I would be happy with 2 more wins and team that doesn't give up on games that they lose.

Hey, I'm in Milton's corner. Not skewering the kid for it, but it was not a glaring problem prior to his taking over the job. I understand that there is some context for it. The fact is that Milton went into the lineup and we ended up with the ball on the ground a lot last week. They'll get it cleaned up with enough reps as a first team, but is this week's practice enough to totally eliminate it?

GOL Went 0-12 and didnt get fired after his first year. There is 0 percent chance Frost gets fired unless he goes onto the field knocks out a ref or goes streaking on the field.
