As we all are aware www.SaturdayDownSouth.com has become a consistent media source for SEC football and has grown its presence within several social media platforms. Over the past year and a half they have been writing several articles about UCF. Why you ask? Is it because we bring clicks to their website? Well of course but there is also more to the story.
Saturday Down South was founded by a UCF Athletics alumnus who played baseball for the Knights before starting the company. While their background and daily work is focused on the largest college football fan base in the country, the SEC, he has also made sure to do his part in promoting the UCF brand and conversation. Here is the bio of Jon Cooper from when he played at UCF

Before most complain, Jon isn’t going to outright praise UCF or declare them national champions, but he does embrace our storyline of being disrupters and creating enough controversy to keep our dialog going. By creating controversial topics regarding UCF he has promoted his business and made us a daily conversation topic. Just another way UCF is able to stay on the lips of a lot of people, especially those in the SEC.
