A new Texas law that requires teachers to present 'opposing views' got a bit awkward when an administrator was tape recorded during a teacher training session saying that when discussing the Holocaust, opposing views should be presented to gasps from the teachers. When the audio tape was released to the public, the school was quick to say that they gave a bad example, that the existence of the Holocaust wasn't under debate.
Moral of the story: Only events since 2016 are required to have 'alternate facts' presented.
