This is huge.

Networks aren't going to take both UCF and USF. That's just stupid. It will be UCF and Cincy when it happens.

We have a very large TV market that is growing rapidly. It would be nice if our basketball team was doing better. I wonder if geogtaphicallly us being so far from all the other schools hurts us in any way. I would pick UCF, Cincinatti, Memphis.

And extra 20-35 minutes on an airplane once every two years should not be enough for a current B12 football program to not want UCF. As for travel for other sports, with the large number of flights at Orlando International because of our huge tourist traffic, it should be easier for teams to get to Orlando than it would be to get to most other expansion candidates.

Square: I totally agree with you on travel. I believe that is one of the most undersold aspects of our viability in a "distant" conference.

Football teams are going to make an average of 6 flights a year, but that number goes up for other sports.

Orlando and Vegas are the most accessible airports in the country. Our school is only 20 minutes away from the airport as well. Travel wise, it's a no brainer.

so if we go to the big 10 do we never play USF again because they would have more to gain form it than us? :joy:
Don't want to be in the Big 12. Its not a good fit.
im not a fan of it either but we take it if we get offered...
