No tips. they want to make more money, get a better job. I never understood this whole tip % going up stuff. they cry inflation, but the tip gets bigger with higher prices. Back in the 70's 10% was normal at restaurants, 15% for a great job, or to hit on waitress. That with a typical bill of $15 to $30 bucks for 2 people. Now with prices for 2 at $50 plus they want 20%.
Sure ya did. Hilarious that you tried lambasting people for inheriting wealth when you married into wealth and are now waiting on the old man to croke so you can cash in yet again.
This makes sense, since people who have made their own wealth typically don't try to talk or brag about it nearly as much as you've attempted on this board.
Back in the 70's, the minimum wage for wait staff was much closer to the minimum worker wage. It has not increased at the same rate that minimum wage has.
85, I understand that you have the small dick syndrome but know this. I am fully aware of my inlaws wealth and whatever my wife inherits will not equal what we have earned ourselves. Twenty years working for Publix and never sold a share of stock and also will be part of my second IPO within the next three years. 85, it's all self earned and I'm used to haters like you, I suggest you deal with it.

Sadly, Sir G is a representative business leader from the last few decades. Gen X took a great situation and really fvcked it up for the rest of us, I can't wait to start paying for their medicare.
My favorite of all time def had to be one of the first "middle class" threads we had where he talked about upper income folks having a lot of bills too such as boat payments, private school tuitions, and 2 house payments.

I usually throw a few bucks at a takeout place...Maybe $3 on a $30 or so takeout. There are several mom and pop pizza and greek places by my house that I go to and figure the (usually a young girl) took the time to package it up, make sure everything was correct, etc.
Damn, some of you people are cheap. A a couple bucks is better than nothing, it's not going to break you.
