- With 5 ranked teams still to playing tonight, 6 others have already lost:
- Florida, UCLA, W. Virginia (again), S. Carolina, Creighton, and Louisville.
- In the AAC, Cincy (7-0) and Tulsa (5-1) continued to beat up bottom dwellers USF and Tulane.
- Meanwhile Houston (4-4) lost another time: SMU (7-1) nailed them at home 85-64. Ouch!
- But remember, Houston's already beat UConn and Tulsa; its 4 losses were to top AAC teams.
- So now there's 5 schools near the top of the AAC going into UCF (5-1) match at Memphis (4-2).
- Everyone's been saying the top 5 (or 6) will knock each other off like in past seasons.
- But it could easily sort out different: Cincy and SMU run away from the pack, or just one of them.
- We'll know more about if UCF will be in that mix Wed. night (after SMU at UCF). 2-0, 1-1, 0-2?
