There were over 400 deportation flights to Colombia during Biden’s term. Petro was against the use of military aircraft for the deportations.
I found this piece by some immigration policy group. In 2024 it seems we deported 38,000 Colombians. The research shows though these are returning people caught at the border and not from finding folks from the interior and sending them home.

I think Trump says stuff to get shit moving--threatening tariffs, takeovers, etc.--and it gets people in line. You know, his form of negotiating.

Of course it happens. They fired rockets into Israel several times during Trump's first term. And what exactly do you think Trump would've done that Israel, with our support, hasn't been doing? They've had the living hell bombed out of them for a year and a half, and Hamas certainly knew Israel wasn't just to sit back and do nothing. Have you missed the last 25 years of the world having to deal with these groups? Most of them aren't scared of death.
