Y'all realize that's how it works right? Germany's government says Drug X can't cost more than $100 and the drug makers need to comply or get pushed out of the market.

Instead of doing that ourselfs we are saying, "hey! Don't charge us more than Germany."

We are giving control of our drug prices to the regulators in other nations vs regulating it ourselves. Only a moron thinks this is the best way to handle drug prices. Now they'll just lobby German drug regulators to raise prices so they can charge Americans more. What a great idea that surely won't be abused.
