Twas the night before UCF football and all through O-town
Not a Knight was stirring - no one could frown
The Knights are ready for their new chapter to begin
As we head to a Power 5 conference, we are finally able to grin
The story has been long with our journey filling many books on the shelves
But we can finally say we have arrived as we enter the Big 12
2023 will be the year for our QB and leader JRP
Where he will look to pass from the pocket but also run for many TD’s
The defense looks stacked – Gus said we finally have the depth
The scheme will be aggressive leaving opposing QB’s to hold their breath
No Hurricane will get in the way of the Knights playing the Golden Flashes
A warmup game considered by most where we look to turn them into ashes
The Bounce house will be rocking - the floor will be shaking
We will look to surprise many in our conference – it could be history in the making
The Knights are back - our opponents are doomed
