It seems like targeting top FCS and G5 portal players would be an excellent strategy out of the portal. They seem to be hungry to prove themselves.

I'll take a 3 star who has something to prove, over a snobby 5 star who feels like the coaching staff is mistaken for not playing them.

Ill add a 4th bullet: he just watched the ccg and knew he could cover a receiver better than anyone on current roster
Staffing change or change of scenery makes the most sense to me. Guess he sees the team regressing? Or is the new staff playing a different scheme?
Third bullet is def possible too. Kids must feel severe FOMO.
