UCF Among Favorites to Land Highly Touted Star QB in Battle With SEC, ACC Programs

UCF is also in the mix for four-star quarterback Kane Archer in the 2026 recruiting class.
Greenwood's Kane Archer is a top target for the UCF Knights.
The Greenwood, Ark., product name dropped the Knights as one of the teams who has some appeal. On3 has the Arkansas Razorbacks as the heavy favorite to land Archer with the SMU Mustangs and Tennessee Volunteers among the programs also in the mix.
“SMU, UCF, App State, Mizzou, and Louisville are probably the ones catching my eyes the most so far," Archer told On3.com's Steve Wiltfong on Feb. 12.
