Gus lit a fire under RJ Harvey.

"We got to be able to run the football effectively."

"When we've been good in the red zone, we've been able to run the football in."

In case you don't understand Gus lingo, he didn't say "We have to block better." He said "We have run the football."

No. 1, RJ Harvey needs to step the h*ll up. UCF has the No. 4 RB room in the nation. If RJ Harvey doesn't produce, someone else will. People have always stacked the box against Gus. RJ has always made people pay. What changed?

No. 2, KJ Jefferson is receiving a lot of criticism, much of which is undue. The NUMBERS DO LIE. Despite no real running game the last two weeks, Jefferson is averaging 202.4 yards per game, third best of his career. His best year he averaged 239.6. KJ is currently averaging a career-high 15.8 yards per completion. His RTG is 150+. In other words, he is "getting his yards." FOUR years of SEC QB statistics DO NOT LIE. Conversely, RJ is NOT "getting his yards."

No. 3, UCF needs to move Troy Ford Jr. to DE as a pass rush specialist to get pressure. I have said it all season. Dude can rush the passer.
