The fifth and final week of UCF Football's 2025 Spring Camp had a heavy focus on defense, with linebackers and defensive backs taking center stage with the media. The spring finale included an extended interview session with coach Scott Frost, who shared his thoughts on the gains over the past five weeks, and what the future might hold.

Report here by Nick Williams and Trace Trylko ... for the Sons of UCF.

Jacarri Henderson now throwing shade at the old coaching staff too. Stays pretty consistent in the old players liking the coaching change and the vibes Frost bringing.
Agree, there's been a consistency in the comments. TT

I was initially very supportive of Gus. When you're moving up to a Big Dawg league, it's helpful to have a head coach who's "been there and done that" before. But that said, it was downright perplexing to see the Knights struggle so much. You'd have thought that a veteran coach like Malzahn would have handled the program's transition to P4 much better than he did. Ironically, the way things have gone, you'd have thought he was a G5 coach who'd gotten in over his head.

From the sound of things, Frost is doing all the right things to dig the Knights out of the hole Malzahn put them in.

Think he may have said that a time or three hundred. TT
Malzahn is a nut…literally. I brought that up many times including his history of ruining QBs, firing OCs and flip flopping between play calling and playing CEO.

All of these guys here dragging Gus now made excuses for Malzahn for four years. Scot Frost is different but equally bad. The man has five losing seasons in a row and has zero business being a P4 HC…NONE.

Yeah…Scott Frost is going to dig UCF out of the hole left by Malzahn? Same Scott Forst that left a crater in Nebraska that Matt Rhule is trying to fill.

The biggest problem is UCF’s trash AD. Mohajir made a decision to buy seats instead of investing in a viable head coach, staff and players…now UCF has a bottom of the barrel staff hired on the cheap and a roster full of mid to bad players. Blame Beta Mohajir Trace…football is going to suck.

The FACT that Buddy Frost was running Oklahoma drills with a young promising WR and lost him for the year due to the stupidity of Frost speaks volumes about the guy…same as his appearance at the facilities ground breaking, when meeting recruits or giving a press conference with his mouth full of chewing tobacco.

What do you guys expect of this man? Personally and professionally he needed to rehabilitate himself and his image. Did none of that and was hired on the cheap by Mohajir (for hype). I am telling you that he’s going to fall flat on his face and drag UCF football further down.

Terry Mohajir was responsible for Gus Malzahn wearing character costumes, for Gus tweeting at Elon for “UCF is fun”, “hometown hero”, “to the moon” nonsense.

Mohajir is also behind the silly Forst rebranding…dude is 50 years old and looks every part (maybe skip the silly tight pants)? He’s an old guy.

Now you see the Scott Frost is “a players coach” another OBVIOUS attempt at rebranding. That’s also Mohajir’s idea…he’s full of crap.

I actually want UCF to do well. I have many quite a few friendships with UCF fans and I have nothing at all against your program…yes, I do troll at times for laughs but I present an informed, honest opinion as well.

I have seen the very best and the worst of college football. I have seen Miami win five national championships (three in person). I know what a championship roster looks like, I know what a great AD and a great coach looks like as well as a what a lousy HC and AD look like.
