This probably isn't a new development, but @KAWknight's post about Furman beating UCF in the early 1980s prompted me to look up David Kelly's bio. He played at Furman, so I was wondering if the years matched up.
So I head over to Google and type in "David Kelly UCF" figuring it would bring up the old UCFKnights.com bio. That's usually the trick, even if it's an old player or staff member. Nothing. Usually it's the first result.
But it did bring back this old press release about Kelly. I click on Kelly's bio link in that story:
We're sorry, the page you requested does not exist
Okay, that's interesting. So I'll see if Keith Tribble got the same treatment. He did. Gone.
From what I can tell, UCF has always left up bio pages of coaches and staff. Steve Orsini, Lance Thompson, and about a dozen other former coaches I just Googled. Including Paul Ferraro.
Just thought it was mildly interesting.
