Roster News:

Miles Pace won't play his fifth year at UCF.

The redshirt senior defensive end has transferred to Division II Virginia Union for his final season of eligibility. He graduated from UCF in the spring.

Pace recently updated his Facebook profile to indicate enrollment at the Richmond-based school.

I haven't had an opportunity to ask GOL about the departure - he is the only person authorized to confirm roster moves - but one rumor circulating is Pace may have been dismissed for a violation of team rules.

Pace has been primarily a reserve defensive end in his previous three seasons in Orlando, though he did start one game in 2014 and four games in 2013. He was a backup this spring playing behind Thomas Niles and Luke Adams. Incoming junior college player Monte Taylor, who enrolled in May, is expected to play a big role at that position this year.
